“…a magical oasis of organic flowers, vegetables and beautiful singing birds”

“Molly's place - Sweet Farm on Cane Creek - is a slice of heaven. A 3.5 acre organic farm just minutes away from Downtown Asheville. The property is a magical oasis of organic flowers, vegetables and beautiful singing birds. The property also has over 800 logs along the creek being used to grow organic mushrooms. We stayed there with our family of 4 and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Sitting on the front and back porches watching the birds feed and fly amongst the flowers in the cool morning air while sipping our coffee or doing yoga on the open air platform was part of our daily routine. The house has great charm and reflects the owner's passion for positive living and organic farming. As an added bonus to the property, we were able to develop a great friendship with the hosts who have been Asheville resident's for many years. They had great recommendations for us in terms of hiking, eating and local activities. We've stayed at many AirBNB's over the years and are fortunate to have spent time with Molly and Robear at Sweet Farm. We look forward to many return visits. Our stay exceeded our expectations and we unequivocally provide our experience with a 5-star rating.”

“…a relaxing and peaceful get-away to get your zen on”

“Our stay at Sweet Farm was, well...very sweet! Molly and Robear are such kind hosts and people. We learned about mushroom growing/harvesting and left with some delicious shiitakes to serve at our cafe in Atlanta. The home was clean, well-stocked, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. If you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful get-away to get your zen on...and if you're into gardening (you will be quite impressed with this one), come and see Molly and Robear...and their beautiful flowers and chickens. If you want to sleep in, don't worry, the rooster was a late riser! We would love to visit this magical place and these gracious people again soon. They made our short time there extra special and it was much appreciated.”

“…perfect combination of proximity and quiet escape”

“I feel lucky and grateful for my time spent at Molly’s house. It’s the type of home where staying in during a rainy day would feel as cozy as your own home. I was there during Thanksgiving week, so hiding from the cold was important. Her property is about 15-20 min outside of Asheville which provided for the perfect combination of proximity and quiet escape. She lives with her partner in a neighboring house, so I had plenty of privacy or access when needed - but everything you could ask for is in stock. Molly is accommodating, helpful, and kind. I would happily stay there again the next time I visit Asheville.”

“…cozy and very clean and the location was perfect”

“This place was just as amazing as it looks and sounds. The hosts are wonderful, the house was cozy and very clean and the location was perfect - just 15-20 minutes from downtown Asheville. We had such a wonderful time meeting Molly and Robear, relaxing on the porch, and taking in the beautiful surroundings. The first morning we enjoyed a shiitake mushroom omelette with the eggs and mushrooms provided directly from the organic Farm, as well as some other veggies. Thank you Molly and Robear for an amazing stay. We will definitely be back!”

“…a lovely flower and plant filled paradise”

“Molly’s place is a midcentury dream, with large comfortable bedrooms a big open living area and a well equipped kitchen. The space was well stocked with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay, from cookware and pantry items to books, games, musical instruments. Robear even gave us some delicious freshly harvested organic shiitake mushrooms to have for breakfast. Molly greeted me and we enjoyed a glass of wine and a chat when I first arrived while she gave me a tour of the property which is a lovely flower and plant filled paradise, on a creek where Robear grows organic mushrooms they sell to local restaurants and they raise beautiful chickens. The property is easily accessible yet totally private with parking close to the house on level ground. It is a quick and easy drive into Asheville but you feel like you are in the country. Star gazing was incredible. But by far my favorite part was getting to know Molly and Robear. They made us feel really welcome. I can’t wait to go back!”

“…location is so peaceful, yet we could easily drive to town when we wanted to”

“My family stayed at Molly and Robear’s house for a week. It was just the escape we needed! The location is so peaceful, yet we could easily drive to town when we wanted to. They shared fresh vegetables from their garden and made sure we had everything we needed. We hope to come back!”

“…in a beautiful area near plenty of hiking trails and a short, easy drive to town”

“The seating was perfect -- enough seating to chill out in the living area and enough chairs for all of us to sit around the table for meals and game night. Molly and Robear were very hospitable, and their property is in a beautiful area near plenty of hiking trails and a short, easy drive to town.”

“…get away from the hustle & bustle of city life, but still so close to Asheville”

“Molly & Robear are such lovely people and their home reflects that. Our family had such a great time at Sweet Farm — we especially enjoyed interacting with the chickens, walking down to the creek, looking at their garden and hearing how they grew their shiitake mushrooms. They went above and beyond to host us, making sure we had everything we needed and more with fresh eggs, mushrooms, coffee, milk and more. The home was beautifully decorated, easy to get to and they have a great piece of property to get away from the hustle & bustle of city life, but still so close to Asheville. We visited Hickory Nut Gap Farm & Looking Glass Creamery, and hiked Catawba Falls, all great spots to check out. Thank you Molly & Robear for sharing your knowledge about how you grow your mushrooms, we had the BEST time!”
